To help you choose the correct TV aerial you should first know how strong the freeview digital signals are in your location.
There is an excellent web site that will give you this information including what channels you can receive now and in the future. Simply log onto www.digitaluk.co.uk and enter your post code into the box on the right hand side. The results page will even suggest which TV transmitter your aerial should be pointing at.
We stock a good range of Televes TV aerials such as the popular Televes DATHD. This antenna has a built in amplifier to increase its gain even further. Other very popular TV aerials are the Televes DAT 75 and Televes X43. These TV aerials are a good choice in weak digital freeview TV signal areas.
Probably the most loved aerial in the industry is the Triax Unix 52. This has a high gain and is also ideal for weaker digital signal areas. It can be either mounted on the pole at the end of its boom arm (behind the reflector) or in the middle of the boom by its lower cradle which is included in the box. It is also lighter in weight which may be a consideration for you depending on how you are going to mount it.
Where the digital freeview signal is shown to be good then I would suggest the Televes TV aerial model 112101. For very strong signal levels close to a TV transmitter then the Televes 8024 and Antiference LP28F Log Periodic TV aerials are excellent choices.
Many of the TV aerials are 'CAI Benchmarked' having first been tested by independent test centres. These are approved products for use in digital installations and are the only ones permitted to use the official CAI Benchmark logos.
