Made up of two Triax screened F socket modules type 304254.
The screening prevents interference from reaching the socket which could cause breakup of the digital picture.
The screening also prevents stray satellite IF signals leaving the socket and the possibility of reaching other pieces of equipment such as the UHF TV aerial signals
