The Triax 304122 is a screened Outlet Plate which can be used as a TV or Radio aerial socket
The screening prevents interference from reaching the socket which could cause breakup of the digital picture. The screening also prevents stray TV signals leaving the socket and the possibility of reaching other pieces of equipment such as the those handling the satellite signals.
