The Triax 304118 is a Diplexed Screened Outlet Plate designed to operate with UHF-FM/DAB. (UHF and Radio)
The TV UHF socket has a DC path which means that it will also pass the 12 volts from a mast head power supply if required.
It will also pass the IR signals from a TV Link Remote Control System.

The screening prevents interference from reaching the socket which could cause breakup of the digital picture. The screening also prevents stray TV signals leaving the socket and the possibility of reaching other pieces of equipment such as the those handling the satellite signals.
