This DIGINOVA Caravan aerial is classified as a high gain aerial. The high performance is generated via a UHF Yagi type aerial for TV reception with 10 elements and a Band III (DAB) and FM radio aerial consisting of a printed dipole, both connected to an MRD UHF 13dB amplifier, which couples together both the Band III and FM signals.
The built in MRD amplifier allows the passage of a UHF analogue or digital TV signal in the absence of voltage, whilst amplifying the signal by an additional 13dB when it is fed with a suitable12-24 volts DC power source.
The MRD also mixes the Band III (DAB) and FM radio signals with that of the UHF.
Protection:
The protection "Dome" is manufactured from a high U/V ray resistance ABS plastic. It consists of a base and cover incorporated with each other. With the alloy clamp and the 8 stainless self-adjusting screws that seal the set, it is protected from weather conditions with a coefficient of IP22.
Mounting Ease:
This "easy to install" all in one aerial only needs to be connected to a cable via the F connector and clamped against the aerial mast. It can be adjusted for vertical or horizontal polarization.
Due to its pleasingly modern appearance, the DIGINOVA aerial can be installed on a caravan or any part of a building as a result of having a visually low-impact appearance thanks to its special design.
