Remote control and viewing of your Sky satellite receiver from another room is very easy. All you need to do is run a good quality aerial cable from the RF2 output on the rear of your Sky satellite receiver to the room where you would also like to view satellite programs.
Then in that room simply add a Global tvlink Magic Eye. Go into the Sky satellite receiver menu and turn the RF 2 power on and hey presto you can now not only view the same satellite channel but also remote control the Sky satellite receiver from that room as well!
Wish to do the same with a Freesat or Freeview receiver?
Most Freesat and Freeview set top boxes do not have a UHF modulator built in i.e. no RF output. The Triax Tri-Link RF Modulator Kit solves the issue of distributing Freesat or Freeview around the home, with the ability to view and control set top boxes on existing analogue and digital TV's with built in analogue tuners.
The Triax Tri-Link RF Modulator Kit I show below comprises of a UHF modulator pre-selectable between TV channels 21 to 68. It has a TV aerial input with UHF loop through to enable the modulated signal (from the freesat or freeview receiver) and TV aerial to be combined. It is supplied with a couple of stick on IR remote control transmitters to affix to front of satellite receiver/s or DVD recorder etc. This combined enables you to view and remote control the devices from other rooms.
There's even a remote eye included to enable you to remote control your set top box from say the bedroom. Full circuit diagram supplied.
Our Global tvlink Plus Adaptor shown below allows any two devices that HAVE UHF modulators built in such as older DVD players, Non Sky satellite receivers, etc to have their signal distributed to another room via a coaxial cable. By the addition of a Global tvlink Magic Eye you can remote control these two devices connected to the Global tvlink Adaptor.
