Multi LNB Arms & DiSEqc LNB Switches

For the DIY enthusiast we stock Multi LNB Arms that enable several LNB's to be fitted to a single satellite dish to allow reception from several satellites, ideal if you wish to receive European as well as English TV channels etc.

Example 1:

To receive English Freesat channels from the Astra 2 satellite located at 28.2 degrees east and German channels from the Astra 1 satellite located at 19.2 degrees east, use the Triax Flexi Block Holder at £13.00 together with the Triax TD78 satellite dish. LNB's and 2x1 DiSEqC LNB switch also required.

Example 2:

To receive English Freesat channels from the Astra 2 satellite located at 28.2 degrees east and the European channels from the Eutelsat Hotbird satellite located at 13 degrees east, use our Triax Multiblock TD Multi LNB Holder at £17.00 together with the Triax TD78 satellite dish. This Holder will take up to 4 LNBs so you could equip it with another LNB to also receive the Astra 1 satellite as described above. LNB's and 4x1 DiSEqC LNB switch also required.

What is a DiSEqC?

An acronym for ‘Digital Satellite Equipment Control’. Almost all satellite receivers today have built in DiSEqC software that will control a DiSEqC satellite switch. This switch is normally located behind the satellite dish and connects directly to a number of LNB's. Only a single satellite coaxial cable is required to be run between the satellite receiver and the DiSEqC satellite switch. The switches are available in two or four way.
